Eric joined Imperial Tobacco Canada (ITCAN) in 2009. Over the years, he has taken on various responsibilities and roles within the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs function. In October 2021, he was appointed Vice President, Legal and External Affairs (LEX). Following an organizational restructure in 2023, Eric assumed the role of Vice President for the newly created Corporate and Regulatory Affairs (CORA) function. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in achieving the company’s vision of a smokeless future. He oversees corporate communications, government relations, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives, and regulatory matters, while also serving as the company spokesperson.
Prior to joining ITCAN, Eric spent 11 years at Rio Tinto Alcan, where he held a range of positions in corporate affairs, marketing, and global account management in both Canada and Paris, France. He holds a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication from the University of Aix-Marseille in France.
