An award-winning government affairs strategist, Victor Vrsnik joined 7-Eleven Canada in 2013, and has steadily expanded his leadership role and responsibilities. Top of his list is to unlock government-restricted business opportunities, influence policies and regulations, and earn social licence to operate with ESG-building and regulatory compliance programs. He cultivates a strong influencer network in government and the employer community.
A notable achievement in 2021 was to navigate complex alcohol regulations and license the first set of stores. Victor is on the leading edge of industry efforts to lift restrictive alcohol laws. Where that happens, he plays a pivotal role in driving 7-Eleven's liquor licensing process, bolstering the company's business operations.
Educated at the DeGroote School of Business, Victor holds a master’s degree from McMaster and Syracuse universities. He is ‘Accredited in Public Relations’ through the Canadian Public Relations Society, a professional association that he once led as President. His career contributions earned him entry to the CPRS College of Fellows.
Victor adds to his list of side hustles, successful election campaign manager in B.C., and university course Teaching Assistant in Ontario. Off duty, he enjoys brushing up on languages on the Duo Lingo app.
